ISEAMI provides guidance for research, activism, and constructivism. The diversity at ISEAMI brings together an eclectic mix of people, creating knowledge from all cultures and personal experiences. Ultimately, our goal is to improve the relationship between humans and our social, cultural and natural resources. With the ISEAMI community’s ecological values and expertise we want to share our perspective, and together help solve problems that challenge communitues around the world.

ISEAMI Eco-Lodge is located in the Peninsula de Osa, which forms part of the southern end of the Puntarenas province. Neighboring Carate beach, a gateway to Corcovado National Park, coined by National Geographic as "the most biologically intense place on Earth", this vastly rich and diverse area offers many attractions. Whether you are just looking to relax on a secluded beach, hike through our breathtaking jungles, or enjoy the many action and extreme sports in the Osa’s natural playground, we feel strongly it will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life. ISEAMI is a small institute that makes a huge difference.Students will learn about our relationship with our environment and maintaining human sustainability. Our program gives you flexibility to design personalized courses. It's about creativity, investigation, engagement, and community. As an ISEAMI student, you work closely with faculty, take interdisciplinary classes, explore your own creative work, and immerse yourself in a diverse community of learners.
